Welcome to ?Uu-Kwa-Qum's site, James has been carver and painter as long as he can remember. Born in Ahousaht/Nuu-Chah-ulth to Rosie and Late James Swan Sr. and originally from Manhousaht, James can be best known for his print making and original paintings, but now James is also moving into sculpture and murals.
James Swan (?Uu-Kwa-Qum) has develop his skills from looking over his late father's shoulder, his family is very talented. Even his late grandfather Luke F. Swan's art can be seen at the Royal BC Museum.
James will be gratuating from the University of Victoria in 2011 with his Bachelors of Fine Art.
